Progressive Supports US Troops with Innovative Solutions for High Altitude Operations

Progressive Industries is proud to feature our very specialized product of High Altitude Supplemental Oxygen Systems (HASOS) by Summit Oxygen. We are the exclusive U.S. distributors for the United States Armed Forces. The HASOS units are sold globally to various client groups including Military and Paramilitary units, Helicopter Pilots and Aircrew, and SOCOM. Along with Extreme Mountaineers and Skydivers- providing a multitude of solutions for high altitude maneuvers , catering to individual requirements and providing enhanced breathing capabilities and freedom of movement.

This unique marketplace has taken us around the world to the highest peaks to bring quality high altitude solutions to our Warriors, wherever they need us. We never imagined we’d get to explore these vast areas and help assist the teams that need specialized breathing capacity when they are working and/or exploring the highest corners of the world.

There are different types of oxygen systems that we provide for the military. Those systems are tailor made to help in their specific missions and ventures form combat to rescue missions. The Helicopter Pilots & Aircrew Supplementary Oxygen System (HPASOS) has been developed specifically to protect Helicopter Pilots and Aircrew from the effects of Hypobaric Hypoxia when conducting flights operations above 8,000 ft.

The Combat Search & Rescue Supplementary Oxygen System (CSRSOS) has been developed to protect Combat search and Rescue personnel from the effects of Hypobaric
Hypoxia when conducting operations at altitudes up to 18,000 ft.

The Special Operations Forces Supplementary Oxygen System(SOFSOS) has been developed specifically to protect Special Operations Forces from the effects of Hypobaric Hypoxia when performing combat missions in altitudes up to 18,000 ft.

The Summit Oxygen systems are superior to any other oxygen system mainly because of the design. The tanks themselves are lightweight so there will be less to carry and the tanks last longer because of the oxygen distribution. While other systems have a steady flow of oxygen, our systems have a pulse flow, which means it only distributes oxygen when needed. So while on the mission, the squads won’t have to worry as much about their airflow cutting off.

Progressive has had a great honor of providing hundreds of Summit Oxygen’s HASOS units to the Air Force and other divisions of the US Military.
